This mission is unlocked after completing the Clear the Air mission. To accept it, talk to Carlos Montero who is at Montero Farm.

Second Son Mission Walkthrough

Sneak Into the Prison and Rescue the Prisoners

	Objectives
1	Steal a Military Paria Truck Head to one of the main roads in Costa Del Mar and wait for a prison truck to drive near. Use the picture you get to find the correct truck. When you see one, hijack it and drive it to Carlos in Fuego Valley whose location will now be marked on your map.
2	Drive the Paria Truck to Carlos Drive the truck to Carlos and park it in the garage. Make sure you are not in combat or else you wont be able to park the truck and continue on with the mission. Once you arrive a quick cutscene will play.
3	Travel with Carlos to the Prison Ride in the back of the truck as Carlos takes you into the prison. When you arrive, you realize that Miguel is not there for pickup.
4	Rescue Miguel From the Prison Using stealth, you need to navigate around the area and find Miguel. Turn around and go up the stairs near you and head towards the blue dot on your mini map. From here you can scout out the area. Make your way to the blue dot. Avoid the security camera and take out the alarm on the other side of the building. Take out the guard there and move his body to a safe location. Go back to the blue dot to have a conversation with Miguel. He will tell you to check the guards room to find the Prison Keycard. Climb to the roof of the main buildings and use throwing knives or some other silent weapon to kill the solo guards in the area. The key will be in the northernmost room on the second floor. Grab it and return to Miguel to break him out.
5	Escape With Miguel If you did not kill all the guards, use stealth to sneak out the front. If all the guards are dead, use the vehicle in the area to drive right on out of there and meet Carlos back at the gas station. As you approach, a cutscene will play and the mission will be complete.

Tips and Strategies

Get the Prison Truck Near Lozania

After getting the prison truck, you will need to drive it to Carlos who will be in Fuego Valley. If you get the truck near Lozania, you will not have that far to drive.

Stealth is Important

If you get caught, a big and difficult fight will be awaiting you. It is recommended to do this mission unnoticed so silencers, stealth kills, and throwing knives will be your best friends.
