| Rescue Dr. Matias Alonso. Talia needs your help rescuing her friend, Dr. Matias Alonso. He has been captured and taken to True Yaran Academy where they will torture and brainwash him. Rescue him before that happens. |

This mission is unlocked by completing the Break the Chains mission. To accept it, talk to Talia Benevidez at Camp Maximas.
Break the Chains Mission Walkthrough and Rewards

| 1 | Rescue Dr. Matias Alonso Head to the location marked on your map to reach the True Yaran Academy.  Kill the soldiers in the front then go to the east side of the building.  Use the ladder to climb up the smaller building then jump across to enter the academy and meet up with Matias.  South east of the academy there is a man hole. Go down it to get The Transubstantiator unique sniper rifle. |
| 2 | Find a Trauma Kit  Head to the location marked on your map. Kill the guards and enter the blue building. Pick up the orange bag to get the trauma kit. |
| 3 | Return to Matias  Bring the trauma kit back to Matias. |
| 4 | Protect Matias Protect Matias and kill all of the attacking enemy troops. Once they are dead, a cutscene will play and the mission will be finished. |
