The Rococo Loco is one of the auto-pistols that you can get relatively early after you leave the first island in the game. It has a harsh recoil, but can more than take out any enemy you point it towards in close quarters. Due to its large magazine size, it can be easy to take out 1 enemy after another without thinking about reloading until you run out of bullets.

Before getting the Desert Eagle, the Autocrat is the next best pistol that you can use. You can carry this pistol a little bit past the mid-game before you realize its weaknesses but is more than serviceable enough to carry you through the entire game.
