Each Insurgency rewards you with a large amount of XP, Moneda, a new and Insurgency exclusive weapon, and a Spec Ops Key, which is used to open guerrilla Dead Drops in Special Operations for special and rare rewards.
Once you finish 3 Insurgencies, you will be rewarded with the Oh No You Don't!
trophy for killing 3 Insurgent leaders.
This Insurgency will take place in the Isla Santuario province, where you will need to take out Andres Caballero.

Insurgencies are a special missions that have set objectives. Castillo's forces will retake a province in Yara and occupy it. Your goal is to finish all objectives in an Insurgency to find the location of the leader. Take them out and the Insurgency will be complete and you will be rewarded handsomely.
Insurgencies will become available once players finish all Operations (Main Quests) in the game. There are 56 total Operations and once you finish the The Battle of Esperanza Operation, you can start on your first insurgency.
Each insurgency will have 4 objectives to complete before the leader's location is revealed. You will have objectives like destroying newly built anti-air cannons, capture checkpoints, capture FND bases, and in some cases completing Special Operations.
Under the Insurgency title on the Insurgency tab, yuo will see the text time remaining
. This countdown indicates when the current Insurgency will and and a new one will begin.
