Tanks are one of the toughest enemies you'll encounter in Far Cry 6. Find out how to defeat them in the battle and which weapons or Supremo are most suited to the task.

Tanks are one of the sturdiest land vehicle you will encounter. With this in mind, you will need to bring in your highest damaging weapon if you want to bring them down.
Explosive ammo is one of the best ways to deal with tanks. It turns your bullets even from regular guns to anti-vehicle guns. Alternatively, you can use launchers to deal with them as well.
Grenade and Rocket Launcher List and Locations
Pyrotechno is a Resolver weapon seemingly designed for taking down vehicles. It launches rockets and can make short work of tanks.
Explosive gadgets like Dynamite and C4 can make short work of tanks. It'll be easier if you can get the version of these explosives that stick or those that are timed so you can have time to get away from the explosion.
The downside to these are once they run out, it'll be awhile before you can find some more of them.
Supremos are also very reliable when taking down tanks. However, they take some time to charge and the proper timing since you can't exactly aim them.
All Supremos and How to Unlock
Exterminador is by the far the most effective Supremo in bringing down tanks. It's almost sure to destroy one once you time it properly.
Volta on the other hand is a more defensive way of dealing tanks. It shocks tanks so that it would momentarily stop moving, allowing you some time to either set up your weapons or hijack it.
Tanks are slow but they have good firepower. They have their cannons and machine gun to deal some decent damage to you so giving yourself some distance will be a smart move.
Once you have enough distance, depending on the method you are using, aim your guns and blast it to oblivion. If you're using gadgets or Supremos, you may want to get a little closer to ensure they hit.
