Troll Hide is an early-mid game material used to craft the Troll armor to replace Leather armors. This material is dropped by Trolls, usually found in the Black Forest biome. Trolls are formidable enemies so we recommend caution!
To more efficiently farm Trolls for their hides, it is recommended to look for Troll Caves scattered around the Black Forest biomes and mark them on your map. This is where Trolls usually dwell and respawn, giving you a reliable source of Troll Hides.
Troll Caves can be recognized by skeletons at its entrance and a towering Troll in its vicinity. Be careful while exploring, Viking!

If you don't mind using cheats to obtain it, Troll Hides can easily be spawned with the console command.
To spawn the item, first turn on cheat codes by typing devcommands in the F5 console, and use the spawn TrollHide command to create the item.
