Enemy Spawn

If you don't mind using cheats to find it, Troll can also easily be spawned with the console command.

To spawn the enemy, first turn on cheat codes by typing imacheater in the F5 console, and use the spawn Troll command to spawn the enemy.

The Troll creature can drop the following materials. Higher level enemies will typically drop higher quantities of each item.

Useful for Farming Wood and Ore

A Stone Golem's attacks can easily break the materials around the Meadows and the Black Forest Biome. You can use this to your advantage by baiting and evading its attacks and making them hit the trees or the ore deposits.

When using this method of farming, you will be able to get Core Wood, Fine Wood, Copper Ore, and Tin Ore before you even defeat the first boss.

How to Beat Trolls

Parry Its Attacks

The best way to beat a Troll is to parry its attacks and attack them back during the opening made by your parry. This method is not easily done because you will need at least a Bronze Shield in order to parry the Troll's attacks.

Timed Dodges

Another great method in beating a troll is to time your dodges before the Troll's attacks hit you. If you are able to time your dodges right, you will be invincible when the Troll's attacks land.

While doing this, you can attack the Troll in between their own attacks since they take a long time to start their next attack.
