This is a guide to the controls used in Valheim. If you want to know how to move your Vikings as well as how you can make them interact with the vast world, read on!

This list shows all the default controls set when you start playing Valheim. If you are not comfortable with the default keybinds, you can always change it by going to the Main Menu → Settings → Controls Tab.

Mouse Sensitivity

This setting changes how fast your mouse responds to movement. Lower your slider when you think your screen is moving too fast.

Invert Mouse

This setting is for when you using weapons or tools that require aiming, like a bow! Check out this setting and change it to what you prefer!

Gamepad Enabled

Valheim is confirmed to support XBOX 360 gamepads. If you are using such, we recommend toggling this setting to ON!
