A Pickaxe is Required

The first thing you will need to find buried treasure is to obtain a pickaxe. You will need it to dig through the ground and unearth the treasures hidden beneath the ground. Find a Rock Formation

You can find buried treasure in the rock formations in the Meadows Biome. These rock formations are made out of standing rocks that go around in the shape of a boat. Once you find a rock formation you can start digging through the ground inside. You should be able to find a buried chest and skeletal remains in random spots in the area.

Use a Wishbone

A Wishbone is an item that acts like a metal detector to help you locate Buried Treasure. Having it equipped will notify you whenever you are near a buried secret with it's glow. To obtain this useful item you will have to defeat the Bonemass. Learn more in our guide below!

There seems to be only one chest found in each spot. After you find it, you can stop digging if you wish to, or continue, as there are skeletal remains that will give you Bone Fragments. Besides that, there is no reason to continue digging.

There are valuables inside the chest you find buried. It can be Amber Pearl, Ruby, and other valuables that be traded with a trader for great items.
