What is a Maypole?

Valhiem Maypole.jpg
A Maypole is a totem covered in moss. It's a rare structure that adds comfort to your housing, similar to other furniture pieces. In order for the maypole to be effective, you must build your house around it as there's no way to move it. It will still be effective even on the ground, as long as it is around a house.

Where to Find A Maypole

Found in Abandoned Villages

Valheim Maypole Abandoned Village.jpg
Maypoles are only found in abandoned villages. Take note that you can only find them, and they cannot be built without cheats.

Built Using Cheats

If you activate debug mode after activating cheats, you can find it under the Furniture tab of the hammer's build menu. It requires an upgraded workshop, 10 Wood, 4 Dandelion, and 4 Thistle to build. Take note that even though it has requirements to build, it cannot be unlocked as a blueprint without the cheat mode.

To learn more about activating cheat, check out our guide to Valheim cheats!
