In order to breed Boars, you are going to have to tame them first. Taming them can be time-consuming and will require you to have some patience. You will need a minimum of two tamed Boars together in an enclosed space to breed with each other. Check out our Taming Guide below to help you catch those Boars for you to breed.
Taming Guide: How to Tame Boars and Animals
After taming the Boars you caught, you will need to continue feeding them in order to get them to breed. Once in awhile you will see pink hearts coming out of a Boar randomly, this means it will give birth soon. After some time a Piggie will plop out. The Piggie will be born tamed, so don't worry about having to tame each one that is born.
The Piggy that is given birth to will have its level be based on one of the parent Boars. This means you should breed high-level boars with each other to ensure that a high-level Piggie comes out. The higher the level, the more materials they will drop when killed.
The only thing you will need to do in order for the piggies to grow into boars, is to wait. They will grow into boars in no time! You cannot interact them until they do grow and killing them will yield you no materials.
Make sure you keep the piggies in the pen. If let out, they can wander around and end up wandering away from your base and into the wilderness.
Breeding Boars is the fastest way of getting plenty of tamed Boars. Which gives you a place to easily kill Boars for meat and materials. You will not have to go out and hunt for Boars which means relying on luck for their spawns and such.

Soap most likely originated from when people cooked food on a spit and the fat dripped on to the white ash in the fire and when combined with water it made a lather. Adding soap could introduce hygiene factors into the game. They could introduce it similar to how the hunger works, like, the better your hygiene, the more health/stamina you can gain. Making soap could consist of cooking meat over the spit, the fat mixing with ash and then mixing it with water could give you soap.
