List of Contents
Certain items in the world can respawn. These are mostly plants, seeds, and fungi. Berries, in particular, can respawn after a few in-game days as long as their bushes are not destroyed.
Refer to the table below to see all of the resources that respawn in Valheim:
Resource | Where to Find |
---|---|
Barley | Obtained from Fuling Villages in the Plains biome. |
Carrot Seeds | Obtained in the wild or planting Carrots using the Cultivator. |
Dandelion | Randomly spawns on the ground and can be picked up. |
Flax | Obtained from Fuling Villages in the Plains biome. |
Flint | Picked up near bodies of water. |
Stone | Picked up from the ground or mined from rocks using a pickaxe. |
Tin | Smelt Tin ores. |
Turnip Seeds | Obtained in the Swamp biome or planting Turnips using the Cultivator. |
Wood | Obtained by chopping trees or from picking up branches on the ground. |
Yellow Mushroom | Can be gathered from dungeons. |
Raspberries | Can be gathered from the Meadows Biome. |
Blueberries | Can be gathered from the Black Forest Biome. |
Honey | Can be gathered from beehives. |
Blue Mushroom | Can be gathered from beehives. |
Cloudberries | Can be gathered from the Plains Biome. |
With the exception of Yellow Mushrooms, items that spawn inside dungeons do not respawn.
Trolls and any other enemy present across the Biomes of Valheim can respawn after a specific number of in-game days.
Enemies inside dungeons on the other hand do not respawn naturally. It is possible, however, for dungeons to have respawnable enemies under two conditions:
Enemy Spawners are special objects in Valheim that spawn specific monsters at a regular rate. These are only present in specific dungeons or biomes and can be destroyed.
Body Piles are typically found in Swamps, Mountains, and Sunken Crypts. Although rare, it is also possible to see them at the Meadows biome within Draugr Villages. As the name suggests, Body Piles can be distinguished by the sound of flies surrounding a mound of mangled corpses.
This particular Enemy Spawner spawns the following enemies:
Draugr | Draugr Elite |
Evil Bone Piles are found within Black Forest, Swamps, Mountains, and Burial Chambers. These can be distinguished by the black and purple smoke eminating from a pile of bones.
This particular Enemy Spawner spawns Skeletons at a regular rate.
Greydwarf Nests are found within Black Forest biomes. These take the shape of a small tree-like structure that emanates purple smoke, and can drop Ancient Seeds when you break them.
This particular Enemy Spawner spawns the following enemies:
Greydwarf | Greydwarf Shaman | Greydwarf Brute |
