In the first part of Jungle (Night) research-level 2, you'll find Leafeon running away from you. Focus the camera on Leafeon and watch wherever it goes.
After passing through a Crystabloom, Leafeon will stop walking. Make sure not to play a Melody or throw a Fluffruit as you get closer, so that Leafeon will not notice you. Watch Leafeon as it observes the area. Take a close-up shot of Leafeon looking at the left side to achieve 1 Star Diamond.

Taking a 2 Star Diamond photo of Leafeon is similar to 1 Star. All you need to do is bump Leofeon and take a photo of its reaction. Ready your camera because Leafeon will run away once the Neo-One hits it. Take plenty of shots as you get closer for more chance of getting a Leafeon in an alert pose.

At the last part of the Jungle (Night) research-level 2, you'll find Leafeon roaming around the area and end up sitting near the Crystabloom. Light up the Crystabloom using the Illumina Orb and take a close-up shot of Leafeon to achieve 3 Star Diamond.
