While passing near the lake area, look to the left side and you'll find Yanmega flying near the Quagsires. Use the Scan mode at Yanmega and take a close-up shot to achieve 1 Star Diamond.

How to Take Yanmega 2 Star Photo

Hit by a Fluffruit

Before passing through the lake in Jungle (Day) research-level 2, scan the area to discover the alternate path. Take the path for you to get a closer look at Yanmega. Once closer, throw a Fluffruit at Yanmega to make it flinch.Take a close-up photo of flinching Yanmega to achieve 2 Star Diamond.

To take a 3 Star Diamond photo of Yanmega, lure Yanmega to go to the river in the last part of the Jungle (Night) course research-level 1. To do this, play a Melody at the beginning of the course, before passing the lake area (first alternate path), and upon reaching the last part of the course.

Once the Yanmegas appear and go to the river, focus your camera on one of them. Then, throw a Fluffruit at it and wait till it eats it. After it eats the Fluffruit, throw an Illumina Orb at it and Yanmega will twirl in the air. Take a close-up shot of Yanmega celebrating to achieve 3 Star Diamond. Make sure to use the Burst mode 6 photos for a higher chance of getting the perfect shot.

For a 4 Star photo of Yanmega, follow the steps on how to clear Triple Threat request. Take a close-up shot of Yanmega while Ariados is spitting a web to achieve 4 Star Diamond.
