Should You Pull for Summer Cordie?

Get Her if You Are Playing Crimson Teams

Despite being years since she came out in MementoMori, Summer Cordie is still a decent Crimson unit that can fulfill the role of both a secondary DPS and support buffer.

When she starts battle, she gives her team's two main DPS carries a 50% ACC boost (at the cost of 50% lower EVD) and an ATK boost equal to 60% of Summer Cordie's ATK. When she attacks, her first active skill has a decent hit rate at 5 attacks, while her second active skill has a x1.5 damage multiplier as long as she has 1 or more buffs.

To round out her kit, Summer Cordie's second passive gives her both a DEF and M. DEF buff that can go allt the way up to 100% with each time she attacks, which can make her fairly tanky (however it would be better if she had someone else to give her a multi-barrier or shield).

Her support skills especially complement certain Crimson units like Artoria, Morgana, and Priscilla. However, she can also be put into other mixed soul teams due to the nature of her buffs.

Needs Multiple Copies to be Effective

Summer Cordie, however, needs multiple copies and awakened to a minimum of LR rarity to make full use of her kit.

Aside from increasing her ATK to make her active skills deal more damage, Summer Cordie's ATK buff also scales off her ATK (so the bigger Summer Cordie's ATK is, the bigger her ATK buff). So, she will need to be awakened in order to get the right ATK stat so her buffs are effective.

Get Her for ATK and CRIT Buffs from Arcana

Another good reason to get Summer Cordie is her Arcana with regular old Cordie - Dorado's Strike. Having both Summer Cordie and Cordie at LR rarity gives all your characters a CRIT buff (Character Level x 70) and an ATK buff (2.0%).

Since it's relatively easier to get regular Cordie to LR rarity, Summer Cordie is the only half of the Arcana that players truly have to worry about.

When Not To Pull For Summer Cordie

If You Are Not Playing a Crimson Team

Summer Cordie is by no means tied to playing with majority Crimson teams, but she works well with Crimson Teams. I

But if you play teams made up of any other soul, there are other support units and secondary DPSs that are not as rare/hard to get as Summer Cordie that can do roughly the same job she does (without needing to be raised all the way to LR).
