Each time Cordie attacks, this skill increases both her DEF and M. DEF by 3% for 1 turn (30% max) (cannot be dispelled). Her DEF and M. DEF are further increased by 3% for each attack she deals.
Level 2 (Unlocks by level 141)
This skill also becomes activated each time Cordie is attacked. Her DEF and M. DEF are further increased by 3% for each attack dealt to her.
Level 3 (Unlocks by level 221)
The amounts her DEF and M. DEF are increased by each become 10%, and their max increases both become 100%. Her DEF and M. DEF are further increased by 10% for each attack she deals, or is dealt to her.

Good Crimson Secondary DPS and Support Unit

Summer Cordie's strength lies in her utility as a secondary DPS that also provides ACC and ATK buffs to her allies.

She starts the battle by giving the ACC buff to her team's main carry, while also giving herself a DEF and M. DEF buff that will feed into her second active skill. When she fires this AoE attack off, it has a damage multiplier of 1.5. It will also heal the ally with the lowest remaining HP equal to 30% of its damage.

Her biggest buff, however, is the ATK buff she will give to the ally with the highest ATK (your team's main carry). The buff is equal to 60% of her ATK.

A fully awakened and properly geared Summer Cordie can be a good unit that provides not just extra accuracy and damage for your team but good sustainability as well.

Needs to be Fully Awakened to be Useful, Outpaced by Other Witches

However, Summer Cordie's biggest weakness is that she has to be awakened all the way to LR rarity to perform her job well (buffer, secondary DPS). Other units within the Crimson soul category can do the same job as Summer Cordie but without the upfront price tag.

Winter Soltina, for example, gives both ATK and ACC buffs without any kind of EVD debuff or scaling with her own ATK stat. She can do this at one copy even without her unique weapon, so players can make use of her abilities faster than Summer Cordie. She also has the added bonus of making the buff last longer if the ally she gives it to is an Emerald or Crimson soul witch.

Worth Building if You Already Have Her

Using Summer Cordie may have more costs than benefits for players these days, but she is still a solid character to pick up and build for her damage and buffs, especially if players already have her or they don't have any capable support buffers.

Focus on Raising her Damage, HP, CRIT RES

Summer Cordie only really needs SPD runes if you want her to move first in the team and give her buffs. But you can also give her main stat runes like DEX as well as PM. DEF Break to raise her damage.

For survivability, get her HP and STA runes for more health, as well as CRIT Res and Debuff RES runes to help her avoid critical hits and debuffs respectively.

A team most likely to be used in Tower of Souls (Crimson) or maybe Guild Raid. Summer Cordie provides buffs to either Spring Shizu or Artoria, who will deal the most damage.

Priscilla dispels debuffs, keeping the team in top shape, while Morgana provides healing debuff support and also feeds into Artoria's first passive (Artoria gets an ATK buff if she or an ally trades HP for damage in their skills).
