Should You Pull for Artie?

Pull If You Need A Durable Debuffer

Artie's most notable skills are her Debuffing and Survivability. Her skills apply a strong M.DEF debuff and increase the damage enemies take for a duration, making her tanky by giving her a high chance to resist critical hits and reduce excess damage. This can significantly boost your team's overall damage output. However, it would be best if you were ready to invest in her because her full potential shines at LR+5.

Try to Get Multiple Copies

Get multiple copies, at least at UR Rarity. Artie has an active skill that weakens enemies' M.DEF and increases the damage they take longer at higher levels. At UR Rarity, these debuffs become extra powerful and last for 4 turns. You can also note that her Unique Weapon, Vulcan's Magic Circle, strengthens her debuffs, so it's best to have Artie at least level 180 to wield her Unique Weapon. From there, level her up at LR+5 so that she can use her full potential.

Need PvP Bruiser

Artie is known to be a top-tier PvP character who can nuke out several enemies with her AoE skills and CRIT RES. This makes her tankier by allowing her to resist critical hits and reducing excess damage taken. This can be invaluable in PvP against crit-heavy teams.

Crimson Tower Clearing

Due to her survivability, she might be a good choice for the Crimson Tower, which is available on Sunday, Tuesday, and Saturday at the Tower of Infinity Trial tab.

Artie, a blacksmith with magical abilities who once used her skills to create protective weapons, faced rejection for her craft. Believing stronger weapons meant less death, she persisted. But war with enemy witches forced her to create a terrifyingly destructive sword to win. While victory came, it was tainted by innocent lives lost. Witnessing this horror shattered Artie's dreams, making her see the cost of war and the burden of her creation. Broken and filled with guilt, she gave up blacksmithing altogether.

You Have Limited Resources

Artie's true potential unlocks at LR+5, which requires significant resources. If you're still building up your account and need more resources for awakening characters and skill upgrades, Artie will be less effective. Upgrading Artie's skills and acquiring strong gear requires significant investment. If your resources are tight, consider characters who perform well without needing heavy investment.

Need for Immediate Impact

Artie's damage is considered weak at lower ranks (SSR+ and below). You might be better off pulling for characters who can make a more immediate contribution to your team.
