Special Operations are optional game missions that can be found by talking to Lola in the main camps in Far Cry 6. Find out about the objectives of Special Operations, how to play Special Operations , as well as rewards you get for completing them.
List of Contents
There are currently a total of 6 operations available under the Special Operations menu. Two of which released on launch and the most recent addition, Cocodrilo, was released on October 18th, 2021. If Ubisoft keeps up with this pattern, we should see a new Special Operation released every 1 or 2 weeks.
You must first find Lola in any main guerrilla camps you have access to, and then talk to her. You will immediately be transferred to the Special Operations title screen.
There are three guerrilla leaders to get in contact with in Far Cry 6. Meet any of these leaders to unlock main guerrilla camps.
Leader | How to Meet |

The Maximas Matanzas | Meet Maximas Matanzas |
The Legends of '67 | Meet the Legends |
The main objective of Special Operations is finding where the PG-240X is stored. You will be given a series of directions to find the item.
You must also kill the FND Commander and steal their key that opens the cooler storing the PG-240X. Once you extract the PG-240X, you must keep the device cool using the water sources around the map and bring it back to Lola.
Special Operations Guides coming soon!
You can unlock the higher difficulties in Special Operations by completing one round set in the difficulty mode a level easier. Likewise, you can choose the difficulty setting with Change Difficulty after selecting the map.
From Mastery 1 difficulty and onward, an optional objective of saving Lola's informants will be available. Completing this optional objective enough times will reward players with the Termination Phase trophy.
You must be connected to the Far Cry 6 servers to play Special Operations. It is currently unavailable for offline mode.
Make sure you are connected to the server, or check whether the Far Cry 6 server is down or not.
You have the option to go solo in Special Operations or play with other players which can only be accessed if you have PS+.
Moneda is the currency used in the black market, and it can primarily be earned in Special Operations and Co-op.
Along with the pool of Moneda you can get from Special Operations, you can also be rewarded with various gears and items. Most gear rewards are part of a gear set.
Its literally impossible to do it on a higher difficulty than easy. If you try on a higher one, expect to be ganged up by Flamethrower guys and the heat meter goes up faster than you can run. You will BARELY make it to the second safe point before blowing up. Its literally not worth your time. And nerves.

Run from one shaded area and take care of the enemies before proceeding to the next shaded area. I use stealth and a bow or sniper rifle. I bring Oluso on the way in and Guapo on the way back to Lola, swapping Boom Boom in to tag enemies.
