Description | ||
Emmrich tracks down a rogue necromancer in an abandoned Nevarran mansion, where he discovers a terrible new danger to the Fade. |
After acquiring this quest, you can openly fast travel to the Blackthorne Manor. As a companion quest, Emmrich is required to be in the party when traveling to the manor.
Past the courtyard, head for the main door in the center to head inside. The door will not be locked
The Hand of Glory will point towards the clues left behind by the Rogue Necromancer, the necromancy signs being on your map around the mansion.
Head up the stairs on the left to the second floor and turn left down the hallway. You will arrive at the Blackthorne Library.
Head down to the center of the library. When there, Emmrich and the Hand of Glory will make signals to where the next clues are, the two points of suffering.

Pick up the Skeleton Key inside the library, on top of a small table near the center. You will need the key to open the locked doors leading to the two points.

Head back up the library steps, going back to the previous hallway. Head straight to the other end and open one of the locked doors with the Skeleton Key.
Find the point past the hallway paths, where demons will attack when you find the spirit. Defeat the demons, and Emmrich will attempt to free the spirit.

The entrance door to the Northeast Point will be at the Blackthorne Library. In the same room you get the Skeleton Key, go north to the locked door.
You will find the disturbance in the Master Bedroom. Demons will attack and after their defeat, Emmrich will try to free the spirit.
Once both points of suffering have been cleared, head back to the sealed and strange door in the center of the Blackthorne Library. Behind it will be a portal to The Fade.
Following the portal into the fade, you must continue chasing the rogue necromancer.
Head up the ramp going up on the right, and use Emmrich's companion ability to free a wisp. Collect the wisp and use it to open the nearby door.
Continuing the path, there will be an optional chest below the note. Drop down to get the loot and climb back up, going back to the main path.
Drop down the path and be ready to fight a rage demon and undead. Defeat them and continue on the fade paths.
You will shortly find and confront the rogue necromancer, Johanna Hezenkoss.
Hezenkoss abruptly leaves, leaving behind a legion of demons for you to fight.
After defeating the demons, continue looking for a way to escape by heading to the quest marker.

Pick up both candles and place them on the marked pedestals. Afterwards, Emmrich will create a bridge leading to a portal back to the real world.
After making it back to the real world, you will find Hezenkoss at the mansion's Main Hall. Simple follow the hallway path leading there.
Hezenkoss will summon the Level 30 Boss, Rampant Ego. The Rampant Ego will have an initial Barrier bar, followed by Armor.
After defeating the Rampant Ego boss, speak to Emmrich if you are ready to leave. You can check the large chest that spawns after defeating the boss, or other loot around the manor before leaving.

what about the other at lest 3 or so equipment chests and the puzzle that you skipped entirely, why isn't their a single guide on any of that in the mission?
