Unlock Requirements End The Sacrifice of Souls by choosing to revive Manfred.

Description
Emmrich must seek help in the Necropolis to reanimate his beloved assistant Manfred.

Help Emmrich Revive Manfred

Meet Emmrich in the Necropolis

Meet at the Necropolis

Emmrich will be at the Hollow Bellfry, lower level to start the quest. If he is in your party, simply go to that same location to start.

Start the quest and a cutscene will show, with the team trying to get Manfred up and running again.

Lighthouse Return

Manfred with Neve and Emmrich

After Manfred's revival, the scene will transition back into the Lighthouse automatically, with Manfred interacting with the rest of your companions.

Emmrich Romance

Emmrich Romance - Heir to the Dead

There will be additional romance dialogue choices available if you are committed to a relationship with Emmrich, or not yet committed to another companion.

Hero of the Veilguard

Hero of the Veilguard
After completing this quest, Emmrich will achieve Hero of the Veilguard status, which affects the game's endings and future quest outcomes. You will also receive Emmrich's unique Veilguard skill and Hero Armor.

Bring back Manfred Life's Embrace
・Your Low Health threshold is now increased by 10%
・The party deals 50% more damage while you have Low Health
Graven Vestments
・Detonations deal +50% damage vs. health while you are at Low Health
・Detonations grant you Invulnerable while you are at Low Health
