Find Hezenkoss' Lantern

Head back to Blackthorne Manor for the final confrontation with Hezenkoss. The main door will be locked, and the party must find another way in.

Climb the ladder to the left of the door to get inside and head towards the Main Hall balcony. Once there, eavesdrop on the conversations and Emmrich will find out what to do next.

Get to the Library

Head back to the library. Hezenkoss has left undead guards in the library, you must destroy them to continue on.

Find the Spectral Tome

Step	Location
1	On the top floor balcony of the library, head to the hallway with an extra room.
2	Head inside the room and inspect the first book on the left, in front of the two chairs.

The Spectral Tome will be located in the library, alongside other books to inspect. However, there is only one spectral tome to find.

Give the Tome to Manfred

Find Manfred all the way down at the Servant's Wing, and hand him the tome.

You must then head back to the earlier balcony and watch him do his thing at the party, while the team eavesdrops.

Head to the Ancestral Shrine

After listening in on its location, follow Emmrich as he leads the way to the shrine. The shrine door is locked, but Manfred hands you the mansion key to enter.

Go Deeper Into the Shrine

Head down the wooden staircase all the way to the forbidden shrine below. There is a hidden chest, behind a breakable barrier, in between the staircase.

Once at the bottom, head through the secret passage and defeat the Armored Undead Captain and its minions stationed there.

Unlock the Door with Manfred

In the room with a lever puzzle, interact with the hidden door, and Emmrich will command Manfred to open the door from the other side. The door leads to Hezenkoss's Workshop.

Get to the Lantern

Now in the workshop, fight through the undead resistance to get to the lantern. After Emmrich tries to perform his ritual on the lantern, Hezenkoss will attack.

Defeat Hezenkoss

Hezenkoss will drop down to fight in the hall using magic while the golem throws projectiles and AoE attacks towards you.

Each time you deal enough damage, Hezenkoss backs off to the balcony and returns with more attacks. Once her HP is almost depleted, a cutscene will progress.

Revive Manfred or Pursue Lichdom

After Manfred's ultimate sacrifice, you must decide for Emmrich if he will let go of his pursuit of lichdom to revive his companion, or let Manfred slumber.

Should Emmrich Become a Lich?
