Story Explained

Black Bears Invade the Greymane Camp

Myurdin

The prologue of Crimson Desert starts in the middle of the action: Kliff and his faction, the Greymanes, suffers from a devastating attack by its rival faction, the Black Bears.

Many of the Greymanes are killed and its surviving members are scattered across the continent of Pywel. Kliff is seemingly killed by Myurdin, the leader of the Black Bears.

Awakening in the Abyss

Realm of Uncertainty

Kliff wakes up in the Realm of Uncertainty in the Abyss, a futuristic area that exists in another dimension. He obtains new powers from this location and returns to Pywel.

Arm Wrestling

Kliff arrives in Hernand and completes random acts of kindness for its citizens. Eventually, this leads him to meeting Shakatu of the Goldleaf Merchant Guild. Shakatu asks Kliff to kill Kailok the Hornsplitter, a nefarious character who took over the guild by force.

These actions lead him to receiving a positive reception from both Shakatu and Marquis Serkis, allowing Kliff to start rebuilding the Greymane Clan at the Howling Hill.

Kliff's story does not stop here, as he still needs to reunite with the other Greymanes that are scattered across Pywel.
