Light seven stone lanterns to complete the Spire of Frost in Demeniss in Crimson Desert. Locate all stone lanterns here and learn how to ward off the cold to finish the challenge.

1. Find a Way to Enter the Spire of Frost
| Steps | Directions |

| 1 | The Spire of Frost is guarded by floating enemies with force fields, making it difficult to restore the spire without being distracted. From the Eye of Ice Abyss Nexus just outside the spire, use Blinding Flash to eliminate all of them first. |
| 2 | Head up the stairs to the spire and use Turning Slash or Charged Shot to break the ice encasing the frozen stone lantern. Approach the lantern to light it up, unlocking the spire's entrance. To the right of the door is a common chest in an icy alcove. Note: This counts as the first stone lantern in the whole puzzle. The remaining six lanterns are inside the spire. |
| 3 |  Inside the spire, go under the stairs to open a chest containing the Frozen Anguish and a Refined Palmar Pill. The Frozen Anguish is a unique weapon not found anywhere else. Next, ascend the spire on the staircase. |
Equip the Frostcursed Armor Set for Ice Resistance
It is recommended to equip the Frostcursed Armor Set to benefit from its resistance to ice. Standing near a frozen lantern causes you to gradually freeze, prompting you to mash buttons to break free.
The armor set does not wholly prevent freezing, but consuming Honey Tea temporarily does. You can prepare Honey Tea by acquiring its recipe.

2. Light the Remaining Six Stone Lanterns

| 1 |  Head up the stairs to find the second frozen stone lantern. Break it from the ice with Turning Slash or Charged Shot before you freeze, then light it up. |
| 2 | Continuing going up until you reach a dead end. Go outside through the window and ascend the spire. On the way is an Abyss Cell which you can pull out of the wall with Axiom Force. Continue ahead to find the third frozen stone lantern. |
| 3 |  At the end of the staircase is another Abyss Cell lodged in the ice. Pull it out with Axiom Force, then slip through the window to the left where the fourth stone lantern is. |
| 4 |  Follow the staircase to the top until you reach a dead end with the fifth stone lantern. |
| 5 |  Leave through the window to find the sixth stone lantern along the stairs ahead. |
| 6 |  Run to the very end of the staircase and enter the spire again through a window. Light the seventh and last stone lantern to complete the puzzle and liberate the area. |

To solve the Spire of Frost puzzle, find a way inside the spire by breaking the ice trapping the stone lantern. You can do this by using Turning Slash or Charged Shot. Light it up to unlock the door to the spire, then continue lighting up the remaining six lanterns leading to the spire's top.
Accessed in the Lantern-lit Frost Faction Quest
Lighting the lanterns in the Spire of Frost is the main objective of the Lantern-lit Frost Faction Quest commissioned by the Beighen Tribe. The spire itself is not locked to the quest, so it can be accessed anytime in the Demeniss region.
If you light the first stone lantern outside the spire, you get the notification indicating the start of the Frostwarden sub-quest under Lantern-lit Frost. Finishing the challenge to the very end consequently completes the sub-quest, which offers the same rewards.

The Spire of Frost is found at the center of the Eye of Ice deep past the Deadfire Mountains. You complete this spire as part of the Beighen Tribe Faction Quest Lantern-lit Frost, though the spire can be accessed without starting the quest.

After lighting the seventh lantern, you will be rewarded with Frostcursed Plate Boots, which are part of the Frostcursed Armor Set. An Abyss Gate will then appear, granting you access to the Passage of Malice in the Abyss.
If you manage to open the hidden chest under the stairs, you obtain the Frozen Anguish and a Refined Palmar Pill as additional rewards. You can also get two Abyss Cells lodged in the exterior wall of the spire.
