Follow the Notes to Hit the Bells

 Grab the mallet near the bells and study the notes posted nearby.

 Use the mallet to hit the bells according the the symbols in the notes. From left-to-right and top-to-bottom, hit these bells in order: 1-2-3-4-5-6-4-3-2-1.

Beside the locked door are a set of bells and notes stuck on the board. Follow the note symbols and hit the bell with the corresponding symbol to complete the puzzle and unlock the Abyss Cresset.

This puzzle appears as Mysterious Energy on the map between the Steel Mountains and the Deepwoods. You can find the entrance at the northern foot of a small mountain in that area.
Investigate the Mysterious Energy in Steel Mountains
This location will be labeled on the map as a Mysterious Energy. Additionally, other Mysterious Energy found on your map can either be Secret Places, or Ancient Ruins.
