Weapons can be made stronger through Refinement by visiting a Blacksmith to raise their stats. Non-unique weapons can be refined using gathered materials or duplicate weapons, while unique weapons require specific materials instead.

In addition to increasing weapon stats, you can slot in Abyss Gear, special items that grant powerful modifiers. You must visit Elowen the Witch, whom you’ll meet as you progress through the story, to equip or change your weapon’s Abyss Gear loadout.

Most weapons in Crimson Desert can be obtained by purchasing them from Equipment Shops or looting them from enemies, chests, and the open world while exploring.

Aside from regular weapons, you can also obtain unique weapons with powerful modifiers and abilities. These cannot be upgraded using duplicates and are obtained from treasure chests and completing main or faction quests.

Weapons can also be crafted through Blacksmiths using gathered materials. You must first learn the required books to unlock them for crafting.
