1. Hernand Commissions (Requests)

Completing Hernand Commissions (also called Requests) from townsfolk is worth doing as they reward you with inventory expansion tools. These tools add extra slots to your inventory, which is extremely valuable as the game has no storage chests for you to store your items.

By completing any commission that you come across on your journey, you gain rewards and expand your personal inventory in the process.

2. Greymane Quests

Doing side quests for the Greymanes unlocks Companions for you to dispatch on missions. This feature is useful as you send people to gather camp resources for improving the Greymane Camp without having to do it yourself. Moreover, unlocking Companions introduces new features.

How to Farm Camp Resources

Send Companions on Missions While You're Doing Quests

To maximize efficiency while busy with quests or activities, make it a habit to assign Companions to missions before doing any quests. Because completing a mission can take as long as 8 to 16 in-game hours, it is highly recommended to make preparations ahead of time before doing anything time-consuming.

This way, you are assured that you are still gathering camp resources while in the middle of doing something else.

3. House Roberts Faction Quest: Stolen Quarry

One of the best side quests to complete is the Stolen Quarry Faction Quest commissioned by House Roberts in Karin Quarry in Hernand. After completing the quest, you unlock the Special Equipment item Knuckledrill, which allows you to easily mine for ore and increases ore drops by 10%.

Because ore is necessary for upgrading and crafting weapons, acquiring Knuckledrill will allow you to refine your arsenal more efficiently.
