You can defeat Draven the Crowcaller by using Grappling moves to stagger him in Crimson Desert. Check out Crowcaller's weaknesses and resistances, its location, tips on how to beat the boss, and the drops and achievements after defeating Crowcaller here!

The best way to defeat Crowcaller is by using Grappling moves to deal big damage and inflict high Stagger buildup to easily stun him and provide you with an opening for burst damage. We highly recommend using the Lariat Follow-Up skill upgrade as this allows you to perform the Lariat skill multiple times so you can quickly fill up Crowcaller's Stagger bar and stun him for an opening.
As soon as Crowcaller gets staggered, use your Turning Slash skill during the opening to deal good damage and shave off a chunk of his health. You can also equip the Leather Helm of the Fallen Kingdom to provide you with a +35% Turning Slash Damage and further maximize you damage output.
Crowcaller has a move where he initiates a stance to perform 3 teleporting strikes from the air that can be difficult to telegraph. Make sure to use your Aerial Force Palm skill to double jump, and possibly triple jump, to easily avoid this attack without having to worry about any timings.
Keep a look out whenever he points his blades upward as this will be the tell for you to start jumping and avoid the attack all together.
Once you reach his 3rd phase, Crowcaller will start switching this up and perform a flurry of melee combos throughout the battlefield. Always bring your shield up and hold the Block button whenever you can as most of his melee combos can be blocked due to the small amount of stamina damage it inflicts.
Take note that blocking his melee attacks can provide you a small opening to Grapple him to the ground and start building up his Stagger bar.
| Move | Details |
|---|---|
| Shadow Dance | Crowcaller enters a quick stance with his blades and disappears upwards to dash around the field mid-air up to three times. Your safest bet for dodging this move is by executing a triple jump with your Aerial Force Palm as soon as his blades point upward to avoid all three attacks. |
| Cross Slash | Crowcaller quickly dashes towards you and jumps into the air to execute a crossing slash. This move can be easily blocked and once successful, provides you with a short opening to Grapple him and buildup his Stagger bar. |

Crowcaller allows you to learn the Aerial Roll skill during the fight. Keep in mind that certain skills can be obtained by either starting the boss fight, using the Watch and Learn mechanic, or defeating the boss themselves, depending on the boss you fought.
