You can change characters by pressing Up on the directional pad or F1 on your keyboard once they are unlocked in Crimson Desert. Learn how to change characters in this guide.

When New Characters are Unlocked

Available whn new characters are unlocked

You can change characters as soon as they are unlocked, with Damiane being the first and Oongka coming a little later.

Damiane becomes available as early as Chapter 3: Homestead, while Oongka becomes available halfway through the game, in Chapter 7.

To switch characters in the game, press the Up arrow on the directional pad if you're using a controller or press F1 on your keyboard to open the radial menu. With the radial menu open, hover over the character you want to switch to, and then release the F1 or Up button.
