Eliminate Mobs to Level Up Your Abyss Artifact XP Bar

Abyss Artifact Farm

The best way to farm Abyss Artifacts is by leveling up your Abyss Artifact XP bar next to the mini-map on the lower left. This has no limit to the amount of times you can level up and will reward you with one Abyss Artifact every time.

We highly recommend taking on Blockaded areas you can find in the open world as these contain various enemy mobs that you can eliminate to gain more experience points.

Farm Totem Enemies Before Reed Devil in Chapter 3

During the Chapter 3 main questline, you can also farm enemy mobs that spawn an unlimited amount of times from nearby Totems at the mountain before the Reed Devil boss fight. Take note that this is only effective before defeating Reed Devil as doing so will destroy all the Totems near the mountain and prevent enemies from respawning.

Another way to get Abyss Artifacts is by completing Challenges you can find in your Journal. Although not every challenge offers an Abyss Artifact, we recommend taking on Exploration Challenges that are usually related to puzzles and have a Question mark on the map, and Mastery Challenges that requires you to use specific weapons against certain enemies.

You can also find Sealed Abyss Artifacts as random drops from enemies. These require you to complete their challenges and use them in your inventory to turn them into Abyss Artifacts for you to use.

Lastly, you can also get Abyss Artifacts by purchasing from NPC vendors like Elowen for a certain amount of Silver. Keep in mind that there are only a limited amount of stocks you can purchase from a vendor and will not reset once you have bought all of them.

Abyss Artifacts are material items that can be used to unlock and upgrade Skills in your Skill Tree. Although most of the skills for each Character requires an Abyss Artifact, some skills require you to use the Watch and Learn mechanic on certain NPCs and Bosses to unlock them.

Material for Refining Equipment

Abyss Artifacts are also used as crafting materials for refining your equipment. Any equipment with Refinement +5 and above will require you to spend Abyss Artifacts to upgrade them further and maximize their potential.

Make sure to balance out spending your Abyss Artifacts between Skills and Refining to keep your character updated as you progress through the game.
