How to Beat Myurdin

Checkmark Use Heavy Attacks and Grapple
Checkmark Equip Fire Resistant Armor
Checkmark Avoid Flammable Barrels and Lava Areas

Use Heavy Attacks and Grapple

You can breeze through Myurdin's first phase by using heavy attack combos following by a Lariat combo. This combination takes off a huge chunk of health on Myurdin, allowing you to move on to the second phase without much damage.

Keep in mind that you cannot use Grappling Skills against Myurdin in the second phase.

Equip Fire Resistant Armor

Myurdin is able to imbue his attacks with the fire element that can easily whittle down your health. We highly recommend using Fire Resistant Armor to mitigate the burn damage you take.

Avoid Flammable Barrels and Lava Areas

Myurdin will be covered in Lava in the second phase, being able to burn most things he comes in contact with. Be sure to stay away from flammable barrels to avoid damage from the explosions.

He will also be able to summon lava springs from the ground which can deal massive DoT when exposed for long. Be sure to immediately roll after getting in contact with it.

List of Myurdin Moves

Move Details
Slam
Myurdin raises his arms for a decent time of wind up, then slams on the ground for an AoE attack. In the second phase, spikes sprout out of this slam towards your direction. Be sure to dodge sideways just as soon as Myurdin slams his arms.
Bear Slams
Myurdin warps for a brief second and repositions, then slams on the ground multiple times, summoning bears that charge to your direction. Make sure to keep your distance and dodge sideways.
Molten Slams
Myurdin summons lava from the ground, he then follows it up with continous slams on your position. As with the rest of his slam attacks, make sure to keep your distance and dodge sideways.
