What Is Crafting?

Making Equipment with Crafting Materials

Crafting allows you to make equipment like arrows, weapons, and armor with crafting materials you have gathered. To craft a piece of equipment, you need to visit a smithy to have the blacksmith craft it for you. You do not need currency to craft any equipment.

Gather Crafting Materials

Gathering Crafting Materials
To be able to craft equipment, you need to gather crafting materials by harvesting resources in the overworld. Crafting materials can be obtained through the following ways:

  1. Buying from vendors
  2. Picked up as drops from enemies
  3. Skinning animals
  4. Logging trees (for timber and fine timber)

Craft at a Smithy
After gathering crafting materials, go to a smithy to have a blacksmith craft your equipment. Turnali is the first blacksmith you encounter in Hernand. Select the crafting option after talking to the blacksmith.

Crafting Menu
Select equipment or item to craft. At the start of the game, you only have ranged equipment (arrows) to craft in the menu. To unlock more equipment like armor and weapons, you need to find recipes and blueprints.
3 Submit the crafting materials to craft the equipment of your choice.
