Move in the opposite direction of where the horse is facing to tame it in Crimson Desert. See tips on how to tame horses and whether you can tame large animals in this guide.

How to Tame Horses

Run Up to a Horse and Ride Them

Wild horses can be tamed by running up to them and riding them. You can also crouch and sneak up on them to catch them unaware.

This starts a minigame where you have to move your Left Thumbstick on the controller or press the Direction Keys on the keyboard opposite the direction where the horse is facing until the bar fills up.

Large Animals Can Be Tamed Temporarily

Some large animals like bears can be beaten into submission and used as a temporary mount. To do this, keep attacking until they stop moving and a prompt to ride them appears.

You will then be able to use the animal as a temporary mount until you dismount, at which point they will go back to attacking you.
