Howling Hill

Howling Hill Mining Route

The best place to mine ores early is by the cliffs of Howling Hills, south of Hernand City. You can find a long stretch of Iron Ore and Copper Ore here, starting from the base of Howling Hill all the way to Unicorn Cliff.

Following Rhett's Request in Hernand City, this is likely the very first place you will mine ores, and you will find yourself visiting frequently due to its proximity to the Abyss Nexus at the Greymane Camp above.

Anvil Hill

Anvil Hill Mining Route

Another good spot to mine ores is the area between Anvil Hill and Hernand City. Like Howling Hill, you can mine ores at the bottom of the cliffs of Anvil Hill. More Copper Ore can be found by following the river flowing northward, passing Hernand City.

The closest Abyss Nexus is the one found inside Hernand City. After teleporting there, you can start mining along the river before advancing toward Anvil Hill.

Haunted Hill

Haunted Hill Mining Route

Haunted Hill is an area located north of Hernand City, past Three Saints' Falls. East of the Haunted Hill Abyss Nexus is a trail of Iron Ore headed toward the waterfalls.

It is recommended to go here when you are used to exploring as the terrain in Haunted Hill is uneven and rocky, making it quite difficult to traverse early in the game.

Use Force Palm to Defeat the Wandershrubs at the Abyss Nexus

What also makes it tricky going to Haunted Hill early is the group of Wandershrubs guarding the Abyss Nexus there. The Abyss Nexus will not activate unless you eliminate the Wandershrubs, especially the large one that attacks with electricity.

To secure your mining route in Haunted Hill, claim the Abyss Nexus there by eliminating the Wandershrubs with Force Palm.

Form a Mining Route Near an Abyss Nexus

Due to how much time it takes to travel between points, it is highly recommended to form a mining route based on the ores' proximity to an Abyss Nexus. This way, you can easily teleport to your mining site whenever ores respawns.

Harvest All Ores in a Route

It takes about seven in-game days for resources like ores to respawn, so make sure to harvest all ores in your mining routes so that they all respawn at the same time. Doing this allows you to consistently harvest ores once a week in-game.
