Default Kliff Mount

The Herspia is the breed of Kliff's horse mount that you unlock during the main story quest, Unknown Space, just after the prologue.

Tame in the Wild

You can also tame Herspia in the wild if you find one by running up to them and riding them. You will then have to do a minigame where you have to move in the opposite direction to where the horse is facing to tame them.

Stables also sometimes sell Herspia for the price of silver. It might not be worth it though since you can just tame one in the wild or steal from NPCs but it's an option if you can't find any wild horse or you want to avoid a bounty.

Steal Horses from NPCs

Herspia can also be stolen from NPCs in the open world whether through bandits you encounter on the road or from non-hostile NPCs in towns or camps. You will need a mask before you can steal anything and stealing is a crime so beware of your bounty.

Herspia does not really excel in anything and just has average stats among the horses in game. The only advantage might be is that it's your first horse and you probably have it at higher levels already with skills unlocked.

Lv. 2 Dash Can move fast.
Lv. 3 Drift Slide while moving quickly.
Lv. 3 Back Kick Kick an enemy behind you.
Lv. 4 Sprint Can move very fast.
Lv. 5 Swiming III Can move faster in the water.
Lv. 5 Double Jump Jump while in midair one more time.
Lv. 5 Quick Start Set off quickly when starting to move.
