Use Nature's Snare Retribution on his Shotgun Attacks
Walter Lanford uses a shotgun for most of his attacks. You can counter this by using Nature's Snare Retribution during his key attacks, which are signified by his smoke grenades. We recommend guarding the normal shotgun attacks as they are fast and harder to read.

Found at Fort Warspike in Hernand
Walter Lanford is located in Fort Warspike to the west of Hernand and north of the Witch Woods. Keep in mind that he will only appear in Fort Warspike if you have progressed the House Serkis Faction quest in Hernand.
