How to Heal

You can heal by selecting a consumable from the radial menu or by sleeping in Crimson Desert. Read more to find out how to heal in this guide.

Equip a Consumable Food in the Radial Menu

Equip and Consume Food in Quick Menu
To heal instantly, equip a consumable food item in your radial menu which will appear beside the mini-map on your lower left screen.

On a controller, hold the right D-pad to select a food to equip from a menu. After it has been equipped, press the right D-pad to consume it and restore HP.

The default button for mouse and keyboard is F3. If this is your input device of choice, we suggest rebinding this button, as it can be challenging to use in the midst of combat.

Consuming Cooked Food Restores More HP

Cooking Food

While consuming uncooked food does not result in any debuffs, it is highly recommended to cook your food as doing so allows you to restore more HP if they are consumed. This is especially helpful to remember to reduce your chances of being easily killed in combat.

Sleep to Regenerate HP

Sleep on Character
Aside from passing time, sleeping is also another way of restoring your character's HP. Sleeping just for 3 hours already replenishes your HP to full health. Locate your character's bed to sleep on it.

Kliff's bed is in a tent located in the Royal Trading Post outside Hernand City, north of the Hernand region.
Greymane Camp
Greymane Camp Bed Locations
A second bed is in Kliff's home southeast of the Greymane Camp, further south of Hernand City past the river. Another bed can be found in a tent in the Greymane Camp itself.
