Early Greymane Camp
It is recommended to start exploring Pywel after you unlock the Greymane Camp in Chapter 3: Howling Hill. This is because the first three chapters of the game introduce you to fundamental mechanics that affect your progression, such as getting used to combat, learning about the Abyss, and familiarizing yourself with landmarks in Hernand City.

After Chapter 3, you begin to manage the Greymane Camp, which has you gather resources to improve it. At the same time, the story will pick up again and reorient you back to your journey, encouraging you to explore.
