Why Can’t I Equip Weapons

Equipment labeled as unequippable can only be used by other characters in Crimson Desert. Learn why you can't equip weapons and why some weapons are labeled as unequippable in this guide.

Equipment that Can Only Be Used by Another Character

Unequippable Item
Unequippable equipment is a gear that cannot be equipped by a character, making them unique to another character instead. These items range from armor to weapon types, which are marked by an “unequippable” tag seen in the inventory or in a crafting menu at a smithy.

As there are three playable characters in the game, each tag for a piece of equipment shows a small icon featuring the character who cannot equip that item. For some equipment, only a single character is able to equip it.
