Sanctum of Temperance is a puzzle that is part of The Witch Wisdom quest in Crimson Desert. Learn how to solve the Sanctum of Temperance puzzle and see its location in this guide!

Sanctum of Temperance Puzzle Solution
| Step | How to Solve |
|---|---|
| 1 |  Enter the Sanctum of Temperance and grab the first block near the stairs. You can also loot the chest hidden behind the block before proceeding. |
| 2 |  Continue going up with the block and place it in front of an open square slot in the machine. You can then use Force Palm to insert it from the slot. |
| 3 |  The next block is located inside the building filled with vines. You can remove them first using Blinding Flash so you can explore freely inside. |
| 4 |  Grab the block by the window and move it outside. Lift it up and place it on the pillar close to the machine. |
| 5 |  You will need to use Force Palm again to put the block in the slot. To do that, crouch and press the Force Palm button to smash it into place once you're on top of the block. |
Complete the Sanctum of Temperance by clearing the area from enemies and assembling the generator with its missing parts.
Witch of Wisdom Quest Required
The Witch of Wisdom is a prerequisite quest to complete the Sanctum of Temperance and the other Sanctums.

Use Blinding Flash to Activate the Dial
After cleansing the Sanctum of Temperance, an optional dial puzzle will appear in front of the mechanism. Use Blinding Flash to solve the puzzle by flashing light on the crystal-like stones on the outer rim of the dial. Do not flash light on the stone gaps in between, as doing so will reset the dial, forcing you to start over.
If you manage to make a full rotation around the dial, the mechanism will release the Core of Temperance. Use Axiom Force to seal it, storing it in your inventory.

You can find the Sanctum of Temperance in the Pororin Forest in Hernand. Look for a crevice on the cliff to find its entrance.

Each Sanctum rewards you with a Core for completing the dial puzzle. Cores are used for upgrading your Kuku Pot, which you obtain in the Mysterious Pot quest in Chapter 4.
Once you have obtained a Core, visit Grimnir at the Kilnden Workshop to start upgrading your Kuku Pot.
