How to Use Item Abilities

Equip an item in the gear quick menu then open the function menu to use that item's ability in Crimson Desert. See here for more information on how to use item abilities.

How to Open Quick Slot 2 (Gear)
PS5 / Xbox PS5 - Dpad Left
(Hold)

(Hold)

Items with special abilities should be equipped first in the gear quick menu. Scroll through your equipment in the Armed Combat or Armor tab to wear the item, which should reflect on your character's appearance. Toggling the item in the menu also shows the button prompts for triggering its ability.

Next, open the function menu, which is where your food for healing is stored. Scroll through the slot to select the item you equipped in your gear quick menu. With the item equipped, exit the menu and press the button prompts for that item's ability (which is also displayed in the menu) to use it.
