Use Back Hang to Deal Huge Damage
In order to defeat Kearush the Slayer, you first have to learn the Back Hang skill which is a sub-skill under the Grappling main skill. Once you learn the skill, try to circle around and stay behind Kearush so you can start using Back Hang to deal huge damage per stab and whittle down his health.
Take note that Back Hang cannot be spammed too frequently as it only works after an enemy attack. This skill also requires you to be at the enemy's side or back, so position yourself accordingly before executing the skill.
Grapple to Walls to Avoid His Slam Attacks
Kearush tends to do a ton of slam attacks that can easily catch you off guard due to their quick timings. We highly recommend using the Axiom Bracelet so you can grapple to walls and take the high ground to easily avolid all of Kearush's slam attacks.
If Kearush starts performing his slam attacks before you take the high ground, you can always time your dodge rolls away from him since his slam attacks have a short range but hits in a AoE around him.
Play Defensively During His 3rd Phase
Once you reach his 3rd phase, Kearush will start chaining more combos and get more aggressive throughout the fight. Try to play defensively and be patient when looking for openings as most of his moves are incredibly fast and can hit an additional time.

| Rapid Slam | Kearush the Slayer slams the ground with both his hands and rushes towards you while repeatedly slamming with ground to deal AoE damage until he jumps up high to perform a body slam. We recommend using the grappling hook to take the high ground and avoid the entire attack, but in case you are not able to grapple, you can always dodge roll away from him to avoid each attack and keep your distance. |
| Body Slam | Kearush the Slayer quickly jumps towards a high wall and hangs on it, only to jump down and perform a body slam towards your position. It is relatively easy to avoid this move as you only need to dodge to the side, which gives you a huge opening to perform a Back Hang and shave off a big chunk of his health. |
