Sanctum of Atonement

Find Bari the Witch of Kindness

Kliff Meeting Bari the Witch

If you have not done so already, you need to start the Witch of Kindness quest to cleanse the Sanctum of Atonement.

Meet Bari the Witch first on Crimson Lake in Pailune to initiate the quest. Otherwise, you will be informed by Bari at the Sanctum of Atonement that you cannot cleanse it yet.

Restore the Missing Generator Parts

Liberate the Sanctum of Atonement
Liberate the sanctum by defeating the Antumbra Order in the area.

Sanctum of Atonement Part 1
In the sanctum's main ruins, slip through a narrow window to find the first missing generator part.

Sanctum of Atonement Part 2
Exit the window and take a left into the chamber on the opposite side of the ruins. The second generator part is inside with a common chest.

Go to the sanctum generator southwest of the ruins and attach the missing parts. The cubic part goes to the side of the generator while the other part goes on top of the pillar structure. Use Force Palm to push both pieces into their respective places.

Sanctum of Atonement Treasure Chest
To the right of the sanctum generator is a locked room with a treasure chest. Light the two lanterns in the area to unlock it, then open the chest to get the Mirror of Night shield and a Refined Palmar Pill.

Liberate the Sanctum of Atonement of enemies first then locate the generator's two missing parts in the ruins. Fit them to the generator to cleanse the sanctum.

Solve the Optional Light Puzzle with Blinding Flash

Step Directions

To solve the light puzzle, time your Blinding Flash: Concentrate Light on the center of the rotating dial when the vertical mark aligns with the crystal-like stones. Missing them or incorrectly flashing light on the gaps will reset the dial.

After a successful full rotation, the mechanism will release the Core of Deliverance for your Kuku Pot. Use Axiom Force and Seal to store it in your inventory.

※ The footage above is taken from the Sanctum of Absolution, but the method for completing this Sanctum's Light puzzle follows the same mechanics.

Cleansing sanctums provides an optional Light Puzzle. The puzzle mechanics are the same, but the dial pattern varies per sanctum. Obtaining the cores from these puzzles is used to upgrade your Kuku Pot.

The Sanctum of Atonement is in the western area of Haunted Hill, just east of the Hernandian Ruins in the region of Hernand.

Each Sanctum rewards you with a Core for completing the optional dial puzzle. Cores are used for upgrading your Kuku Pot, which you obtain in the Mysterious Pot quest in Chapter 4.

Once you have obtained a Core, visit Grimnir at the Kilnden Workshop to start upgrading your Kuku Pot.
