About 80 Hours to Finish the Main Story

It may can around 80 hours to finish the main story of Crimson Desert, with a total of twelve chapters to complete.

Due to the way the game is designed, beating bosses requires significant character and gear progression, which adds to the total playtime. This is because it necessitates doing sidequests and resource gathering.

Side Content Are Almost Mandatory

Finishing Side Content

Completing side content is almost mandatory because you need to complete it to gather the necessary resources. This includes upgrading your weapons and armor and gathering Abyss Artifacts to upgrade your skills.

This means players will need to complete some, if not all, side content to fill the gaps in their resources and obtain the necessary gear to get a good build going for easier progression.
