Customize Appearance at a Barber

Customize Character Appearance
You can change your character's hairstyle and facial hair at a barber and even add face and body tattoos, all for a fee. Eric, the barber, sets up shop in the Greymane Camp after you complete The Greymane's Cabin under the Solid Foundation questline under Greymane Faction Quests in the Journal.

Dye Your Equipment at a Dyehouse

Visit a Dyehouse
Another way of customizing your character is by dyeing the individual parts of their equipment. You have to acquire dye by crafting it or finding it in the world, then you have to use it in your inventory before being able to apply the color to your equipment at a dyehouse. Your mount's equipment can also be dyed.

Dyehouse NPCs offer limited dyes depending on their locations, so you can also buy from them. Theoric in Hernand, for example, only offers bright red dye while Linus in Demeniss only offers bright blue dye.
