Chapter 10 Walkthrough - Love and Loss (Golden Wildfire)

Love and Loss is Chapter 10 of the Golden Wildfire Route in Fire Emblem Warriors Three Hopes. Read on to learn about the different quests, survey spots, rewards, and support conversations within the chapter, as well as our walkthrough for its main quest!

Yuri can be recruited using the Persuade Strategy during the Battle Prep part of the main quest. You need at least 20 Strategy Points recruit him.

Recruiting Byleth and Jeralt requires escorting Claude safely while avoiding Byleth, choosing not to defeat Byleth in the side mission, and defeating Fleche as quickly as possible.

Ambush on the Federation King Walkthrough

	Objectives
1	Note that this point in the story is a major turning point. This will be your only chance to recruit Byleth. Note that for the time being, Claude will be unavailable.
2	Ensure that you choose units that can hold and fight on their own or in pairs. Send Shez or your strongest unit to the eastern side, and send a few others to the western side to take down enemies. Take the stronghold and base camps as well!
3	Once defeated, the Imperial Army will open the gates, giving you access to new strongholds. Split the teams up to take them all at once. Keep at least one team near the south.
4	Alois will be found on the eastern side of the map, while a Recon Soldier will appear inn the southwest. Save the soldier and defeat Alois to gain information on the enemy.
5	Once defeated, the gates will open once again to give you more access to the map. At this point, Claude will make himself bait and head towards the northern side of the map. Clear the way for him and keep at least one of your most powerful characters on this side.
6	Send another team to clear the strongholds in the center, this will make it easier for you to traverse later.
7	While defending Claude, Yuri will appear. If you chose the strategy to recruit him, this is your chance! Luckily, as an Asura, Shez should have no problems taking him down.
8	Once Claude reaches the North, prepare a team to the south as the last few gates open. Byleth will make their appearance here.
9	Do not complete the side quest to defeat Byleth, if you wish to recruit her Follow Claude and defend him as he makes his way back. You will be stopped a few times and will need to defeat Myson as well. We recommend having a Bookmark save when playing on Casual to have a save point to come back to.
10	With Shez and another strong character, keeping the enemies at bay shouldn't be too big a deal. Just be sure to keep Byleth far away or else they will attack Claude and the mission will change.
11	If Claude gets stuck and won't leave an area while Byleth is running in, try to run elsewhere and keep someone guarding. This should keep Byleth from attacking you.
12	Byleth will be separated from Fleche once Claude reaches the exit. Run or use Shadow Slide to get closer to the northwestern corner of the map and order an All-Out Offensive.
13	Fight with everything you've got before Byleth gets there and by defeating Fleche, you will end the quest. With that, Byleth and Jeralt should now join you.
