Classes Guide: All Class Stats and Abilities

There are Character Exclusive, Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced, and Master level classes in Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes (FEW3H). Read on for a list of all the available classes and their stats to see what makes them stand out!

Character Exclusive Classes

Class User	Weapon Level	Description
Armored Lord Edelgard	Axe Intermediate	An armored leader of soldiers and officers alike, the Armored Lord wields an axe with ease.
Fluegel Shez	Sword Intermediate	The Fluegel is a mercenary who wields two swords. They possess a mysterious power and is able to use some magic.
High Lord Dimitri	Lance Intermediate	With an air of authority and true mastery of the lance, the High Lord rules over both generals and lords.
Silverheart Byleth	Sword Intermediate	Adept with a sword and boasting some talent with magic, the Silverheart is greatly feared on the battlefield.
Wyvern Master Claude	Bow Intermediate	The Wyvern Master is the lord of the skies, riding aloft a mighty Wyvern and wields the Bow.
Asura Shez	Sword Master	A mercenary who carves a path through the battlefield wielding two swords and magic while drawing upon their mysterious power.
Barbarossa Claude	Bow Master	In the tradition of Almyra, the Barbarossa wields a bow while riding the skies on his wyvern.
Death Knight Jeritza	Lance Master	A mysterious knight versed in black magic and lances.
Emperor Edelgard	Axe Master	An axe-wielding class exclusive to Edelgard.
Enlightened One Byleth	Sword Master	The Enlightened One is a holy class, blessed by the goddess herself. This wielder of magic has high strength overall.
Great Lord Dimitri	Lance Master	A lordly figure who leads with unwavering authority, the Great Lord dominates the battlefield with his unparalleled lance skills.
Saint Rhea	Sword Master	The Saint is a powerful sword wielder that is blessed with magic and speed.

Beginner Classes

Class	Weapon	Description
Fighter (Axe)	Axe	Proficient with the axe, the Fighter has high strength that translates to mighty blows. This class is perfect for fighting classes that use Lances for weapons.
Fighter (Bow)	Bow	Proficient with the bow, the Fighter has high strength that translates to mighty blows. This class is perfect for fighting classes that use Lances for weapons.
Fighter (Gauntlet)	Gauntlet	Proficient with gauntlets, the Fighter has high strength that translates to mighty blows. This class is perfect for fighting classes that use Lances for weapons.
Monk	Tome	Monks are well-balanced and they use magic for both offense and defense. This class is ideal when going against classes that use Bows as weapons.
Myrmidon	Sword	This class is especially swift with high avoidance. The Myrmidon deftly wields the sword and is perfect for defeating Fighters and other classes that used the Axe as a weapon.
Soldier	Lance	Skilled with using the lance, the Soldier has a high degree of accuracy and precision. This class is ideal when going against classes that use the Sword.

Intermediate Classes

Class	Weapon	Description
Armored Knight	Axe	The Armored Knight has high defense and holds the front lines as it acts as a shield. We recommend this class for larger battles and against battalions with classes that fight using the Lance.
Brigand	Axe	Strong and hearty, the Brigand wields axes and makes an exceptional front-line combatant. This class is ideal against enemies with classes that use the Lance.
Archer	Bow	The Archer is proficient with the bow and has excellent dexterity and uncanny good luck. This class has an advantage for its long range attacks against short-ranged classes.
Brawler	Gauntlet	Brawlers have high HP and moderate Dexterity. This class is advantageous when dealing with large battalions as they can throw numerous attacks consecutively. The Brawler is only available to male units.
Cavalier	Lance	The Cavalier is a mighty opponent who battles on horseback. This class has a wide range of movement and can travel quickly from base to base due to its mount. We recommend this class both for larger maps and larger armies.
Pegasus Knight	Lance	The Pegasus Knight is an airborne knight with high defense against magic. This class is exclusive to female units. We recommend this class when going against battles with numerous units that use magic.
Mercenary	Sword	The Mercenary is strong and speedy, and gets the job done. We recommend this class for players that prefer quick and efficient units in battle.
Thief	Sword	The Thief is skilled at opening locks, and have excellent speed and dexterity. This class is ideal for players who enjoy completing maps and need a fast unit that can unlock chests and catch up to target units.
Mage	Tome	Few enemies stand a chance against a Mage who bend black magic to their will. Mages are ideal against Archers and other classes that use the bow.
Priest	Tome	The Priest is a versatile white-magic user who can use magic both to heal and to attack. Similar to the Monk, this class is ideal when going against classes that use Bows as weapons.

Advanced Classes

Warrior	Axe	The Warrior is a versatile combatant boasting high durability and unmatched strength.
Fortress Knight	Axe	Trading speed for staying power, this heavily armored unit has staggering defense.
Wyvern Rider	Axe	An airborne knight with great overall strength but a weakness to bows and magic.
Sniper	Bow	The Sniper is a master of the bow with high dexterity who excels at taking enemies out from afar.
Grappler	Gauntlet	A master of hand-to-hand combat, the Grappler mows down enemies with rapid blows.
Paladin	Lance	An esteemed knight with a balance of high strength, defense, and resistance.
Assassin	Sword	A killer who thrives in the shadows, the Assassin has excellent speed and dexterity.
Swordmaster	Sword	A master in the way of the sword, this warrior strikes with speed and grace.
Dark Mage	Tome	The Dark Mage shatters the defenses of their foes by employing dark magic.
Warlock	Tome	A black-magic specialist, the Warlock calls on powerful spells to decimate enemies.
Bishop	Tome	A white-magic specialist, this versatile fighter can use magic to either heal or attack.

Dark Knight	Lance	A mysterious knight versed in black magic and lances.
Falcon Knight	Lance	A lance-wielding flying class proficient in aerial attacks.
Great Knight	Axe	The heavily armored Great Knight has high defense while retaining mobility.
Gremory	Tome	An expert in all forms of magic, the Gremory casts asunder any enemy who stands before them.
Holy Knight	Lance	A blessed knight versed in white magic and lances.
Mortal Savant	Sword	A master who casts powerful magic and wields a sword with confidence and poise, the Mortal Savant is a force to be reckoned with.
Trickster	Sword	A sword user who can use some magic, the Trickster toys with their foes by employing quick movements.
War Master	Gauntlet	A master of hand-to-hand combat, the War Master pulverizes enemies with massive strength.
Wyvern Lord	Axe	An experienced wyvern handler with great overall strength but a weakness to bows and magic.

What are Classes

Specialized Abilities and Fighting Style

Classes generally determine the initial stats and abilities of a unit during battle. Choosing a class for a unit also determines their fighting style through the weapons, Class Actions, and Class Abilities that they can use to defeat enemies.

Each class has its strengths and weaknesses, so be mindful when choosing your character's classes and when to use them in battle.

How to Change Classes

Characters and units are not limited to using only one Class throughout the game. Changing classes is recommended to strengthen your characters and grant them abilities that are exclusive to specific classes only.

How to Promote Classes

Seals are needed in order to unlock classes and for a character or unit to be promoted to that new class. Promoting a class will grant characters new combat arts, magic, and abilities. There are different types of seals that are used to unlock a variety of classes in different levels.
