With three houses and a whole host of characters to choose from, there are so many ways to play Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes! Read on to learn more about each house and which one you should choose!

Any House in Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes is definitely worth your time. With dozens of characters to meet and 3 unique storylines to follow, you're sure to sink quite a few hours into the game. But, how do you know which house is right for you?

Classes Can Be Changed

While each character has their own preferred classes, you are free to change these classes and train them in other skills. This allows you to tailor your experience closer to your preferences!

How to Change Classes

Balance Matters

If you choose to retain the preferred classes of these different characters, then your playstyle becomes an important factor in the game. In the early game, Shez will be the most powerful member of your team and likely the one used the most often. Choosing their class to balance out with the rest of your allies is important to make the most of the advantages in battle.

Having too many of the same classes means that you may be at a disadvantage during certain fights.

Most Casters

The Black Eagles have the most Mages or Priests among the three houses! They are also low on mounted and ranged characters, meaning if you prefer Mounted or Ranged combat then this house can help balance your playstyle!

Incite Rebellion

Players will get the chance to lead a war against the Holy Church, returning the Empire to what Edelgard imagines it to be, possibly butting heads with the Blue Lions and Golden Deer in the process.

Most Melee Fighters

Being more Military based, half of the characters in the Blue Lions are melee fighters. This means that players that prefer ranged or arcane combat are likely to shine in this house with a team to help balance their skills!

Defend Tradition

With war brewing in the Adrestian Empire and the Church seeking refuge. Players will experience what it will be like to defend their kingdom and traditions from radical change.

Most Mounted Fighters

Having the most mounted combatants and a relatively balanced team, players will find that they can play ranged fighters or almost any class here with the Golden Deer!

Fight with the Underdogs

While the Black Eagles and Blue Lions are fighting a war between each other, the Golden Deer is looking outward where a foreign army threatens their lands! Once that threat is solved though they may have to join in the fight against the Empire.

What Are the Three Houses?

Black Eagles

The Black Eagles are a house led by Edelgard von Hresvelg of the Adrestian Empire. Many in this house are of Noble descent and are practitioners of the arcane.

Of the three house leaders, Edelgard is the most radical, expressing her dislike for how the Church has influenced the Empire.

Blue Lions

The Blue Lions are a house led by Dimitri Alexandre Blaiddyd of the Holy Kingdom of Faerghus. Many in this house are Knights, Dukes, or of Noble descent. Most are also Soldiers and Fighters.

Of the three house leaders, Dimitri is the most traditional. Though he understands the need for change, he also understands that his people require stability in times of strife.

Golden Deer

The Golden Deer is a house led by Claude von Riegan of the Leicester Alliance. Many in this house are not of Noble descent, and are of more common origins. Many of them are melee and mounted fighters.

Of the three house leaders, Claude is the most down-to-earth due to his lack of noble upbringing.
