Aside from Shez's stats, which are carried over during the second battle in Chapter 1, most of the data from the previous save are made available during the third battle, in Chapter 2.
The majority of basic play features will be imported automatically. We will expand this section with a complete list as they are individually confirmed.
In a New Game Plus Save, whether the Levels of units are transferred over on a character-by-character basis.
Players can choose whether all of their characters' Support Levels are transferred over or to start them over from scratch.
Once each Camp Facility is made available, it will already be upgraded with the same expansions it had in your previous run. Also, interestingly enough, characters who are not in your party are still available for the Level Up and Acquire Class options from the Training Grounds (but not the Train option).
The Characters available to use in each battle are dependent on the story and do not carry over. It's still possible to view them in the menu, switch out their equipment, change their class, etc., but they cannot be used in battles until they are unlocked in the story in the new run.
The Merc Whistle is a one-per-playthrough item made available in Chapter 10 that allows Shez to get a unique Special Accessory from an ally when gifted. This item does not carry over, so players can choose a new ally to gift the Merc Whistle to in their new playthrough.
In your brand new save file, you'll be able to reselect the difficulty and choose between Casual Mode or Classic Mode. This is a great time to try out the new Maddening Difficulty which is unlocked at the end of the game!
Regardless of the genders and names you chose for these characters in your original playthrough, you'll be able to reselect them in New Game Plus while still carrying over their level and stat data. Although these characters' genders haven't been shown to affect gameplay, it's worth switching it up on your second run for variation.
Although Camp Facilities are fully upgraded when made available, those that are unlocked later, like the Supply Master, will not appear until they are activated in later chapters.
New Game Plus unlocks automatically by completing the game at any difficulty.

When opting to start a New Game, while you have a save of a finished game available, you will have a prompt to start a New Game Plus Save. Note that if you overwrite all of your finished game saves with other save files, you will lose access to the New Game Plus feature, so be sure to leave a finished game save available.
