Heroes' Relics and Sacred Weapons are special weapons and accessories that possess Crest-exclusive special effects.

These special weapons can provide additional Weapon Attributes, powerful combat arts and magic, or even a boost in healing effects when equipped to units with the corresponding Crest.

Crestless Unit Penalty? Yes

Crest-Exclusive Bonuses? Varies Per Relic Healing Only

There are three main differences between Heroes' Relics and Sacred Weapons. First, Heroes' Relics can also be accessories and are not locked to weapons, unlike the latter.

Second, equipping a Hero's Relic to a Crestless unit will have that unit take damage in battle. Doing the same with Sacred Weapons will have no penalty for the Crestless unit whatsoever.

Third, Crest-exclusive bonuses for Heroes' Relics vary per weapon or accessory, while the bonuses of Sacred Weapons are limited to boosted healing effects only.

How to Upgrade Heroes' Relics and Sacred Weapons

Unlock All Effects at the Blacksmith

Players can upgrade their Heroes' Relics and Sacred Weapons to unlock its true strength by visiting the Blacksmith after unlocking the B-Level Facility upgrade, Research Crest-Based Smithing Technique.

There, players can not only unlock powerful combat arts and magic, but also unlock Weapon Attributes that can surely aid your units in battle.

This is particularly helpful for late-game and succeeding playthroughs, given that it can be unlocked at the latter part of the game.
