What is Optimize?

FEW3H - What Is Optimize Fire Emblem Three Hopes

Optimize is a feature that allows you to automatically select the best abilities, equipment, combat arts/magic, abilities, and battalions for your character based on their current class! This allows players to fine-tune their party without having to think as much about what they're doing.

How to Use Optimize

From Set Equipment Screen

How to Optimize

Optimize Everything

Step 1
FEW3H - Equipment Screen Menu
Open the Set Equipment Screen from the Convoy Menu.
Step 2
Select the Character you wish to optimize, and pressY Button.
Step 3
FEW3H - Equipment Screen Confirmation
A message will show, confirming that you wish for the system to optimize this character for you.
Step 4 Once you have selected yes, you should see the new changes on your screen! If nothing has changed, you already had your character optimized!
Note that this option will optimize everything.

Optimize Equipment

Step 1
FEW3H - Equipment Screen Menu
Open the Set Equipment Screen from the Convoy Menu.
Step 2
Select the Character you wish to optimize, open the Equipment menu, and pressFEW3H - Y Button.
Step 3
FEW3H - Weapon Screen Confirmation
A message will show, confirming that you wish for the system to optimize this character for you.
Step 4 Once you have selected yes, you should see the new changes on your screen! If nothing has changed, you already had your character optimized!
Note that this option will only optimize equipment.

Optimize Combat Arts/Magic

Step 1
FEW3H - Equipment Screen Menu
Open the Set Equipment Screen from the Convoy Menu.

Select the Character you wish to optimize, open the Combat Arts/Magic menu, and pressFEW3H - Y Button.
Step 3
FEW3H - Combat Arts/Magic Screen Confirmation
A message will show, confirming that you wish for the system to optimize this character for you.
Step 4 Once you have selected yes, you should see the new changes on your screen! If nothing has changed, you already had your character optimized!
Note that this option will only optimize Combat Arts/Magic.
